  • Peter Larson and Friends

    Sunday, June 15, at 6pm

    This engaging performance will be led by Peter Larson, the Newark-Granville Symphony Orchestra’s principal pianist. In addition to his orchestral role, Peter is an accomplished Broadway composer and jazz pianist. This concert will bring together NGSO musicians to present a lively and accessible program of jazz classics, offering audiences a unique blend of improvisation and orchestral artistry.

  • Big Bad Bones

    Sunday, July 13, at 6pm

    Featuring the NGSO trombone section under the direction of principal trombonist Doug Moran, this concert will highlight the versatility and power of the brass ensemble. Doug, an experienced music arranger, has created custom arrangements specifically for this performance. The repertoire will be both educational and entertaining, designed to engage audiences of all ages while showcasing the depth and talent of the NGSO’s low brass section.

  • A Little Night Music

    Sunday, August 24, at 6pm

    This program will showcase the NGSO string section under the baton of concertmaster Jana Ross. The ensemble will perform a curated selection of light classical works by composers such as Mozart, Haydn, and Piazzolla. This concert will offer an elegant evening of timeless music, highlighting the expressive range and refined technique of the NGSO strings.
